Time Stands Still

Time Stands Still

Dear Friends

I hope you are well. Life is wonderful and life is challenging too. There is a great band called The Decemberists. The title of the new CD is called What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World. The music is great, the songwriting, production etc… Its very artistic and wonderful. But that title! Wow ~ Pascal Mystery said in “layman’s” terms. The Decemberists make really, really good music. Anyway, I SHOULD be telling you about my new record in hopes that you will check it out. Please do! TIME STANDS STILL is getting a wonderful response from friends, fellow artists, faith communities – and even some press. You can find it on iTunes.com and SpiritandSong.com.
I pray many blessings on your life. Pray for me too.
God alone is enough + I AM WHO AM is with us always,
Tom

I am very excited to announce the release of my new recording this fall! “TIME STANDS STILL” is an 8 song CD and Digital Release (Spirit and Song/OCP) that has a variety of styles. Many of these songs are designed for corporate worship and all of them come from an imperfectly lived life of contemplation. More information and samples of the recording are forth-coming. This past spring and summer was spent serving in many different faith communities doing missions of prayer, teaching and song. I continue to work on a book about the many ways God has “ruined” my plans (in a good way!) through decimating divine love! This fall, along with the new album release, there will be more preaching missions, concerts and producing new music for OCP. I am also working on constructing a new overdub studio. Most importantly, my wife Tammy and my three “kids” are doing great. God is faithful + Like you, we hope for the beatific vision, where “Time stands still and only love remains”. Peace to you and yours!

Tom

Finding Peace in the Storm of God’s Love

A Weekend Retreat with Tom Booth and Friends

Jan. 10-12, 2014

Come and spend a weekend retreat with Tom Booth (composer,
musician and retreat facilitator) and his friends.
This experiential retreat will offer participants a time for reflection
and sharing about who God is, how God speaks, and how to pray to a God
who is everywhere and within, including through the storms of life that
seem to surround and sometimes engulf us. The retreat will also offer
participants an opportunity to uncover inner hopes and dreams as well as
what gives them life. It will be a spacious blend of silence, prayer, dialogue
with others as well as simple teachings about a contemplative way of life.
